EVENT CITY WIRLBALL™

Nolan Apostle - Talent, Producer and Contributing Editor
Event City Live, Event City TV & Event City Creative

Certainly one of the coolest products found by the Event City staff at a recent convention in Las Vegas for the Party industry is the Planet Bubble; or as we call it, the WIRLBALL™. A clear double sphere which has an internal strapping system allowing you to take this ball for a spin, literally, is definitely going to be a major winner in the genre of Party Planning, Special Events, Whacked Out Sports, Extreme Sports, Corporate Team Building, or just good old fashion frolicking fun. Toss in some water on a hot day, a friendly passenger and you are off for the ride of your lives! Can anyone say, "Bubble Ball Races"?

Event City Planet Bubble

Have fun with your new Wirlball, once you off and rolling you never want to stop. It can whirl like the wind and rolls like a ball, you'll have the time of your life! For those of you Corporate types wanting to go for a spin right away, but can't talk your CEO into purchasing one of these for your corporate game room, never fear, we have the connection to rent the Wirlball for your next Picnic, Party or Team Development outing or for whatever!

If you are interested in creating your own mini Wirlball Amusement Park or would like to rent them to your clients contact the Event City Emporium and they will help you set up a lease package. This is a HUGE opportunity considering they have the safest, highest quality and best looking ball on the planet. You can also view the Wirlball here for purchasing your own Sphere-O-Fun!

If you are a serious player and would like to purchase your very own, contact the Event City Emporium for details.

It is brand spanking new and ready for you and your creative endeavors! Keep on Rollin' and we thank you for all of your comments, suggestions and ideas that you have shared with us at the Event City Network online services.

Haunt Show :Extreme Creatorz - Grudge

The production crew from Extreme Creatorz were doing their thing at the Haunt Show in Las Vegas. I was impressed with this particular character, "GRUDGE", mainly due to his size, movements, and range of motion. Nine separate motions and Mp3 audio capability - he's the BOMB!!

Smashface girl hauntshow Las Vegas

Another episode in the trip to the Hauntshow - part of the Halloween Costume and Party Show in Las Vegas this week. While checking out all of the professional haunt companies we came across a very well recognized firm in the industry, Distortions (some of you might remember their Electric Chair Man from the days of That's Entertainment), some of their frights are incredible and very realistic as you will see in our future shows.

Below you will find a short clip of one of their current prize fright special effects, the Smashface Girl, truly an incredible haunt attraction and an awesome special effect. Check out the below clip, and if you have any interest in this or any of these haunts contact the Event City Emporium Channel our Special Effects Specialist Email

Please visit the Event City TV station for a great selection of coverage from the Halloween Costume and Party Show.

Halloween Costume & Party Show - Day One

By Nolan Apostle - Producer and Contributing Editor

Wow, Transworld sure knows how to put on a party, don't they? I'm not talking about the Costume Gala, but the Halloween Costume and Party Show itself; WHAT A PARTY! Seeing old friends, such as Leslie and Larry Meyberg, now with Rubie's Costumes, I haven't seen them in many years; many new friendly faces - Jordan Best of Clear Neon, what a Cool Product that is, Kevin Bartholomew with Windy City and Pier Luigi Pulella of Mask Venezia!  This Transworld logo below looks like one of Luigi's.  Then there's the old friends that I use to buy for in my previous life with That's Entertainment International - Henry Kwitel of Visual Effects Inc., and Alan and Stan Beckerman of Peter Alan Inc costumes, two of the friendliest and easiest companies to do business with in any industry. YOU GUYS ROCK!!

Wow. That's all I can say, is WOW! Those of you that know me know I do not "Wow" very easily, let alone, "WOW". This show kicks bloody ass (No pun intended in more ways than one) with everything from some incredible Animatronix, to a full body Corpse Costume. It's the year of Sexiest of Sexy costumes to a container full of farting (and yes it really does have the odor of the perfect passing gas participant). We saw an incredible device that puts Spiderman's webs to shame, an actual talking head, globs of new costumes and gore that goes where no zombie has gone before.

Whatever fits your fancy it is here at the Halloween Costume and Party Show, and insiders tell me the big costume craze this year will be FANTASY, such as this beautiful piece from Franco American Costumes LLC.

Stay tuned for more and here's an invite to view EVENT CITY TV, check out this nice Police Girl costume on the runway, introduction from our Man at the Show, Jeff Patino and a quick clip of the Webcaster Gun (Lookout Spiderman)!! Click here to go there now. See you on the show floor.

Launch of Event City Creative Blog and Zine

Good morning East Coast, happy dreaming West Coast! I welcome you to the Event City Network's™ magazine blog. The first of it's kind to be presented within the United States and as far as we know, within the entire Global Internet!

I present to you on this First day of June 2007, our first Blog of hopefully many more to come, for the Event City Network's
™ online publication, EVENT CITY CREATIVE™. What is the Event City Creative™ and what type of publication will it be? It is an online "Mag and Zine" for the Events & Creative Industries™ soon to be in Beta Test. The Event City Network™ is the new Online Service Portal for these industries and all their vertical markets.

It is our goal to create a magazine as YOU our readers would create it. Share with us your thoughts and ideas of what you would like to see in our Zine and we will do our best to include as much of it as possible. Let us know your trials and tribulations and we will help you find solutions. If you're searching for new technologies or innovations to help your business grow, tell us about them - our researchers will help burrow through the plethora of technology products flourishing
literally on a daily basis to help find these resources!

When Event City Creative
™ launches we want you to be an integral part of this project. By helping us develop some of our content ideas, in essence, you will play a role in the development of the tools we create to help your business and professional career and those of your colleagues to be successful within these industries and all their vertical markets! We can only do this with YOUR FEEDBACK! This is the place to tell us what you want! A Blog-a-Zine™ for anyone to post their comments, ideas, helpful information to share with their associates and peers within the Events and Creative industries.

Ok, so you keep hearing about these Events & Creative Industries; what do we define as the industries
? Here they are as defined by Event City™:
  1. Hospitality
  2. Special Events
  3. Meeting Planning
  4. Travel
  5. Art
  6. Entertainment & Music
  7. Food & Beverage
  8. Publishing & Printing
Our objective is to create an online publication that will provide valuable information and an array of content that would be valuable for all working individuals involved in any of the above industries. Students to CEO's, our valuable information will be dedicated to these industries as a whole. All of these industries have historically come together for the success of many different types of projects - Small private parties to major Corporate events; grand-openings to launch parties; night-club and bar shows to major Rock'n'Roll tours; conferences & meetings to major film productions and so much more. All of the Event City industries play a role in the success of any of those events at any given time!

A Blog-a-Zine™ for the student just coming out of college and wanting to start their own Event Planning company or a major Hotel manager who wants to change careers - post your comments, share with all of us your ideas, give all readers an opportunity to help provide valuable information to share with you and all of our associates and peers within the Events and Creative industries. Take advantage of the crossover these industries represent to help your business grow!

This project has been a very long road for us. As we begin our process to launch the entire 'network', we look forward to hearing from you. We want to learn what type of content and material you would like to see appear not only in our magazine, but anywhere within our Portal site, the Event City Network™.

I look forward to meeting all of you if not in person, at the very least Virtually somewhere in the world of Event City!
